About the Department

The Industrial 技术 Department is dedicated to the preparation of professionals who compete and excel in dynamic, 技术, and global careers.

The areas of study include:

Beyond the Classroom

At the University of Nebraska at Kearney, we believe in providing opportunities for students to help them excel in their field. The Industrial 技术 Department allows students to get involved early and often, with multiple organizations, 实习, and opportunities to expand your horizons while growing and furthering your career experience.

奖学金

The department of Industrial 技术 offers scholarships for current students, as well as incoming freshmen. 学生 may apply for 奖学金 each year from February 1 through the last day of February by accessing the online application on MyBLUE. This single application on MyBLUE will submit a student's application for consideration of all 体育菠菜大平台 scholarships for which they qualify. All applicants will be notified of their results by the month of June. (Incoming freshmen and transfer students must be admitted to 体育菠菜大平台 to apply.)

学生 are provided opportunities for travel to professional conferences and the opportunity to relate class activities to national competitive events. 学生 participating in student organizations are provided an opportunity to interact with faculty members outside the classroom, creating a relationship which helps to enhance the educational process.

实习

Each ITEC internship is 12 weeks, working full-time. Interns must work at least 460 hours during the 12 weeks, and many will work more. Interns may work longer, but on-site academic requirements must be fulfilled in the 12 week period. There are 15 weeks during the summer time frame.
